Horseware Keeps a Tight Rein on its Warehousing Operations Thanks to Door-to-Door Voice Solution from BEC

Newsletter-2015-Q4-HorsewareHorseware Ireland is one of the world’s most well-known and prestigious designers and manufacturers of equestrian products and accessories. With a turnover of approximately €40 million, Horseware is a true global enterprise which employs over 600 people worldwide. Due to a period of expansion and rapid business growth, Horseware gradually became unable to keep up with the ever-increasing volume of orders with the paper-based method it was using to record the movement of goods in, around and out of the warehouse.

Aware that a new and improved solution needed to be implemented in order to provide the company with the level of functionality required to cope with new levels of demand, Horseware sought to deploy a fully-automated solution within its warehouse facility.

The results of the new BEC solution are far-reaching. As of August 2015, Horseware was running 7% up on its 2015 sales target without adding any extra staff, as well as a 23% increase in units shipped. Horseware has also drastically improved upon its order traceability, and can now easily identify who picked and packed an order, the date it was shipped and which courier it was sent with. In terms of its operational processes, Horseware is experiencing increased efficiencies and a tangible reduction in order processing errors, enabling the company to continue to grow and become more and more profitable as time goes by.
